Bert`s Coffee Cafe in Hudson

Very bad experience! The service was unfriendly, they don't take cards, and the cafe latte I ordered tasted like luke warm milk. I'm not a coffee snob but I tossed it out after two sips it was that bad. The location is excellent and there is a lot of potential. I would recommend management look at some of the other reviews here and make some changes.

It has good pastries but they aren't always fresh.

Just waiting for other things to open along the street. Decided to pop in. It's like being at my Grandparents cabin. Plus the "Dirty Dog" drink was just what I needed for the day.

Awesome locally owned coffee shop with excellent coffee, pastries and service!! I come from another town just to sit here for a few minutes and enjoy the norning!

I got a cappuccino which was less than half full, and cost $4.50 also asked for a side of bacon which had a bunch of white hairs in it and was not cooked all the way....I won't be going back there.....unfortunate.

The coffee experience here can be described only as offensive. My Americano tasted less like coffee and more like dirty water. My companion's cappuccino had an odor and flavor reminiscent of wet socks. The menus are plagued with blatant misspellings which aptly reflect the apathy and lack of knowledge abundant in this place.Further, the barista advertised a low-quality artificially flavored coffee as blue mountain. It surely wasn't.There's no reason to support Bert's when there is a perfectly good Dunn Bros down the street. You may be looking for that local, small town flair, but Bert's fails to deliver in every way possible.

Great location in downtown Hudson and cool atmosphere. One problem. The coffee is not good! Paid over $3 for a medium coffee with a shot of espresso, which I have no problem with but it needs to be good coffee. It's clear they are not using a quality coffee and/or equipment to brew.Would love to see better quality so I can enjoy the great location and warm employees.

Stopped in here in September 2016 because the library wasn't open yet. Needed internet. The internet is very slow here. I ordered an iced mocha and it was very watery. And it was over $5!!

Very disappointed in my visit here. Very poor customer service. The barista was either very lazy or had no idea what they were doing.

Wonderful little local coffee shop! Quick service with a friendly attitude. Good blueberry muffins and latte's. Already planning to return!

To those naysayers who feel inclined to spend time and energy trying to make themselves feel better after not having their Starbucksian expectations met by such an eclectic and unexpected little cafe that is Bert's I pose a question. What is the value in bashing a thriving coffee shop that promotes more goodwill in the community than any corporate money-siphoning coffee "store"? I would argue none at all. Please consider staying on your beaten path. Try writing glowing reviews for those companies that care the least. You'll feel much better.
